Sai Wung Kehilangan Kuda,
Dari Legenda Tiongkok Kuno.

Sai Wung kehilangan kuda betinanya,
salah satu harta terbesar dikehidupan desa.
Seluruh desa berkata “Alangkah sial nasibmu.”
Sai Wung tidak bersedih.

Seminggu kemudian ternyata kudanya kembali,
dan membawa pulang seekor kuda jantan perkasa.
Seluruh desa berkata “Alangkah mujur nasibmu, kami semua iri.”
Sai Wung tidak pula bersorak sorai.

Sebulan kemudian anak laki satu satunya menunggang sang kuda jantan,
terlempar terhampar terjatuh patah kaki, cacatlah seumur hidupnya.
Seluruh desa berkata “Alangkah malang nasibmu, anakmu satu satunya cacat.”
Sai Wung tetap tidak meratap.

Dua bulan kemudian, seluruh pemuda desa itu diharuskan masuk tentara,
berperang melawan musuh dari utara yang bengis.
Anak Sai Wung karena cacat tidak turut ber perang,
menjadi satu satunya pemuda yang selamat, karena lainnya mati dimedan perang.

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco. "Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd like to bring home with me."

"Sure," they replied, "we'd love to meet him."

"There's something you should know the son continued, "he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us."

"I'm sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live."

"No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us."

"Son," said the father, "you don't know what you're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live on his own."

At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was suicide. The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn't know, their son had only one arm and one leg.

The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don't like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren't as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are. Thankfully, there's someone who won't treat us that way. Someone who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the forever family, regardless of how messed up we are.

Tonight, before you tuck yourself in for the night, say a little prayer that God will give you the strength you need to accept people as they are, and to help us all be more understanding of those who are different from us!!! There's a miracle called Friendship That dwells in the heart You don't know how it happens Or when it gets started But you know the special lift It always brings And you realize that Friendship Is God's most precious gift! Friends are a very rare jewel, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed They lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always want to open their hearts to us

Nice One Story


LET'S SHOW our love while we can, while people need us. That is something I learnt from an incident in Bhopal .

I saw a little boy daily near the Hanuman temple, always in a white tee and black pants, with a small Hanuman pendant around his neck.

He sat with a basket of fresh floral garlands. Be it at six in the morning or nine at night, he would try his very hardest to sell his wares.

I was a frequent temple goer and each time the boy would beg(ask) me earnestly(sincerely ) to buy a garland. But somehow I never did. Even when I came out, he would follow me to my car, begging me to buy one at least.

Other boys sold flowers too, but none as persistently as he. I went back to the temple recently after a gap of some months.

The boy was there, seated exactly as before. I tried to avoid his gaze(look), assuming that he would follow me. But he did not budge(move).

I went inside the temple and came back. But the boy made no effort to sell his garlands.

I thought he was angry or just showing his own self-respect.

I suddenly missed the communication. I always had with this unknown boy and went to him. He looked at me but did not speak.

This was strange. I gathered courage and asked: "Bhaiya, why are you not asking me to buy your garlands?"

He said, "Didi, why should I ask? You are rich but you can't spend five rupees on my garland. Anyway now I am not so desperate. My sister was suffering from cancer and I had to work for her medicines. My father had left us. My mother makes the garlands and I sell them. We used the money for my sister's medicines. She passed away two months ago. You can now take one for free."

I bought them all. But I felt so small. I still repent that I did not respond then when he tried so hard.

There was once a lonely girl who longed desperately for love. One day while she was walking in the woods she found two starving song birds.

She took them home and put them in a small gilded cage. She nurtured them with love and the birds grew strong. Every morning they greeted her with a marvellous song. The girl felt great love for the birds. She wanted their singing to last forever.


One day the girl left the door to the cage open. The larger and stronger of the two birds flew from the cage. The girl watched anxiously as he circled high above her. She was so frightened that he would fly away and she would never see him again that as he flew close, she grasped at him wildly. She caught him in her fist. She clutched him tightly within her hand. Her heart gladened at her sucess in capturing him. Suddenly she felt the bird go limp. She opened her hand stared in horror at the dead bird. Her desperate clutching love had killed him.



She noticed the other bird teteering on the edge of the cage. She could feel his great need for freedom. His need to soar into the clear, blue sky. She lifted him from the cage and tossed him softly into the air. The bird circled once, twice, three times.



The girl watched delighted at the bird's enjoyment. Her heart was no longer concerned with her loss. She wanted the bird to be happy. Suddenly the bird flew closer and landed softly on her shoulder. It sang the sweetest melody, she had ever heard.



The fastest way to lose love is to hold on too tight, the best way to keep love is to give it -- WINGS!

Valencia dan Atletico merupakan penghuni reguler zona Liga Champion. Setidaknya untuk posisi terbawah alias tangga keempat. Namun, di musim ini, posisi tersebut lama dikuasai Villarreal sehingga status Ches dan Atleti bak warga suburban yang ingin merangsek masuk ke kawasan elite kota.

Tak sebatas menjadi “warga pinggiran”, dua kubu yang telah mengoleksi 15 gelar Primera Division La Liga di antara mereka itu memiliki similaritas dalam hal keuangan. Dana guna pembangunan stadion baru yang masih macet hingga gaji pemain yang kurang lancar.

Meski begitu, pada weekend kemarin, bertepatan dengan berlangsungnya jornada 30 La Liga, keduanya mampu mentransformasi situasi negatif tersebut menjadi output positif. Dibakar faktor kekalahan Villarreal pada hari Sabtu, Ches dan Atleti sama-sama sukses memetik nilai penuh.

Uniknya, kemenangan mereka juga sama-sama diraih tatkala menyandang status tim tamu. David Villa dkk. sukses menang 3-2 saat bertandang ke El Molinon, rumah Sporting Gijon. Berselang dua jam, Simao Sabrosa cs. membawa pulang tiga angka ke Vicente Calderon setelah menundukkan Deportivo la Coruna 2-1 di Riazor.

“Laga ini berjalan sangat seimbang, tapi Valencia terlihat lebih efektif dalam melakoni serangan,” ujar Unai Emery, el entrenador Valencia, seperti dikutip As. “Kita harus terus fokus pada laga demi laga. Setelah ini Sevilla sudah menanti kami. Saya harap kemenangan ini mampu memberi rasa puas setelah berpekan-pekan menuai hasil buruk. Maklum, bomber tertajam La Roja zaman sekarang itu memulai karier profesionalnya di Gijon. “Saya tak pernah menyangka bakal mengalami momen berat seperti ini,” ujar Villa, yang tampak menangis setelah mencetak gol lantaran ayah dan ibunya hadir di El Molinon guna membela Gijon, seperti dilansir Marca.

Bagi Valencia secara umum, tripoin ini langsung membawa dampak signifikan. Tangga keempat klasemen mutlak jadi milik mereka berbekal 49 poin yang telah dikoleksi, unggul dua angka atas Villarreal.

Bagi Atleti, penambahan belum mampu membawa mereka masuk zona LC. Namun, setidaknya selisih angka dengan El Submarino Amarillo terpangkas menjadi tinggal dua.

“Kemenangan ini mampu membawa kembali rasa percaya diri. Kami merasa jadi lebih kuat,” ucap Abel Resuno, bos Los Rojiblancos. “Anak-anak terlihat begitu menikmati permainan. Berlari tanpa lelah ke setiap sudut lapangan dengan benak ingin masuk Liga Champion,”

Satu pemain yang tampak paling menjulang di antara jugador lain adalah Simao Sabrosa. Gelandang Portugal ini pantas diberi predikat man of the match, bukan hanya karena sumbangan satu golnya, tapi juga lantaran visi apik serta ketenangan dalam mengontrol aliran bola Atleti.
