LILIN KECIL

Ada sebuah kisah tentang lilin kecil yang dibawa oleh seorg pria menaiki tangga yang cukup tinggi, menuju sebuah menara. Di dalam perjalanan mereka menaiki tangga tersebut, sililin kecil bertanya Kepada pria yang membawanya, "Kita hendak kemana?"



"Kita akan naik lebih tinggi dan akan memberi petunjuk Kepada kapal-kapal besar di tengah lautan yang luas."



"Apa? Mana mungkin aku bisa memberi petunjuk Kepada kapal-kapal besar dengan cahayaku yang sangat kecil? Kapal-kapal besar itu tidak akan bisa melihat cahayaku," jawab lilin kecil lemah.



"Itu bukan urusanmu. Jika nyalamu memang kecil, biarlah. Yang harus engkau lakukan adalah tetap menyala dan urusan selanjutnya adalah tugasku," jawab pria itu.



Tidak lama sampailah mereka di puncak menara dimana terdapat lampu yang sangat besar dgn kaca pemantul yang tersedia di belakangnya. Pria itu menyalakan lampu besar dengan memakai nyala lemah si lilin kecil. Dalam sekejap, tempat itu memantulkan sinar yang terang benderang sehingga kapal-kapal yang ada di tengah laut melihat cahayanya.



Dengan keberadaan dan keterbatasan kita, memang kita tidak akan sanggup melakukan sesuatu yang berarti. Tetapi satu hal yang harus anda ingat, bahwa hidup anda seumpama LILIN KECIL yang ada DI TANGAN ALLAH YANG PERKASA. Segala kemampuan dan keahlian anda hanya akan tetap seperti nyala lilin kecil jika anda tidak menaruh hidup anda di dalam tangan Allah untuk IA pakai menjadi alat-Nya yang mulia.



Sebaliknya walaupun nyala anda sangat kecil bahkan mungkin redup, tapi jika Anda mempercayakan seluruh keberadaan anda kepada Allah, maka Ia sanggup menjadikan nyala kecil anda menjadi nyala besar yang membawa manfaat besar bagi banyak orang.



Bahkan bukan tidak mungkin Yosua yang adalah abdi Musa itu merasakan sedikit gentar di dalam hatinya ketika Allah memerintahkan kepadanya utk memimpin bangsa Israel merebut tanah Kanaan. Allah menghibur dan menguatkan dia bahwa Allah tidak akan meninggalkannya. Allah menjanjikan kemenangan demi kemenangan bagi dia.



Allah hanya meminta kepadanya, "Kuatkan dan teguhkanlah hatimu dan jangan menyimpang dari seluruh hukum yang telah diperintahkan Kepadamu" (Yosua1:7)



Jangan memandang ketidakmampuan, keterbatasan, dan kelemahan anda. Jika Allah mempercayakan sesuatu Kepada Anda entah itu suatu pekerjaan besar ataupun suatu pelayanan, percayalah bahwa ANDA ADA DI DALAM TANGANNYA YANG PERKASA. Dia akan memakai anda sesuai kehendakNya. KITA HANYALAH SEBAGAI ALATNYA.



Ketika kita mempercayakan seluruh keberadaan kita kepada Allah, maka anda akan melihat bagaimana Ia memakai hidup Anda dan tidak mustahil keterbatasan Anda menjadi berkat yang besar!

Leonardo Pilih Duet Bek Tengah
Prospek Onyewu-Thiago Silva

Setelah hancur-hancuran dalam tur Amerika Serikat dan Jerman, 12-30 Juli, Milan beristirahat sejenak. Mereka baru menggelar uji coba lagi pada Sabtu (8/8).

Lawan-lawan berat bakal dihadapi Il Diavolo. Mulai dari Benfica di Eusebio Cup (8/8), Inter-Juventus di Trofeo TIM (14/8), dan Juventus di Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi (17/8).

Partai-partai tersebut boleh jadi akan menandai kemunculan komposisi bek tengah baru. Ada prospek Oguchi Onyewu-Thiago Silva akan menjadi duet pilihan utama allenatore Leonardo.

Sebelum ini, Leo masih berharap Alessandro Nesta bisa kembali ke performa terbaik setelah pulih dari cedera. Kekecewaan mengemuka setelah melihat Milan kebobolan 13 gol dalam 6 pertandingan uji coba di AS dan Jerman.

Nesta sudah bukan yang dulu lagi karena faktor usia plus punggung yang rawan cedera. Leonardo pun beralih kepada Onyewu dan Thiago Silva, dua bek baru I Rossoneri.

"Thiago kuat dalam duel udara. Kami membutuhkan karakter seperti itu karena musim lalu tim ini sangat lemah dalam situasi bola-bola mati," ungkap Leonardo kepada acmilan.com. Terbukti Thiago Silva bisa mencetak dua gol dengan memanfaatkan kemampuannya di udara dalam tur Milan bulan lalu.

Pemilihan Onyewu mungkin mengundang tanda tanya. Dalam enam uji coba di AS dan Jerman, pemain tim nasional AS ini berkali-kali membuat blunder fatal. Tapi, Leonardo merasa Onyewu masih bisa memperbaiki diri.

"Dia memang perlu banyak belajar. Tapi, Oguchi masih muda. Dia masih bisa terus berkembang. Kami membutuhkan kekuatan fisik di lini belakang. Oguchi adalah simbol karakter itu," ucap Leonardo di Washington Post.

Onyewu dan Thiago Silva memiliki potensi untuk menjadi bek hebat, tapi tentu saja mereka membutuhkan waktu untuk menjadi solid. Asal Milan mau bersabar dan Onyewu-Thiago Silva bisa belajar dengan cepat, ada prospek I Rossoneri memiliki duet bek tengah yang tangguh dalam waktu yang lama. (wid)

Ancaman Cedera Lagi

Musim lalu krisis cedera menjadi salah satu alasan buruknya performa Roma. I Lupi terancam mengalami hal serupa pada musim 2009/10 karena badai cedera masih menghantui mereka.

Selama pramusim, sejumlah pemain Roma bergantian mengalami cedera. Alexander Doni, Cicinho, Marco Cassetti, Simone Perrotta, Julio Baptista, dan Philippe Mexes sudah pernah merasakan naik ke meja perawatan.

Juan, Matteo Brighi, dan Jeremy Menez sempat menjalani fisioterapi. Mereka cukup lama tidak berlatih bersama teman-teman setimnya.

Mirko Vucinic bahkan sudah menjalani operasi untuk cedera di lututnya. Masih untung itu cuma operasi ringan. Vucinic diharapkan bisa pulih saat Serie A dimulai, 22-23 Agustus.
